Terms of Service
The terms you agree to when you buy link building from Link That Works.
Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. Who these terms are with
Link That Works is the link-building practice of Creative Marketers BD. “We”/”us” mean that business; “you” means the individual or company buying the service.
2. What we are selling
We sell placements: an article or link insertion published on a third-party website, containing a link to a URL you nominate, with anchor text you approve. Scope, tier and quantity are set out in your proposal or invoice, which takes precedence over anything general on this site.
3. What we do not promise
We do not promise a ranking position, a traffic figure, a revenue outcome, or placement on any specific named publication. Nobody controls Google’s index. What we commit to is the placement itself, on a site you approved, at the tier you paid for.
4. Approval & payment
You see every host site before we pitch it and may reject any at no cost. Monthly packages are billed in advance; per-placement orders on order. Work begins when payment clears. Prices are in USD and exclude taxes/transfer fees where you are.
5. If a placement does not publish
You are not charged for links that do not go live. If a placement we billed for fails to publish, we replace it with an equivalent-tier placement or credit it — your choice.
6. If a live link is removed
We replace any placement removed by the host within six months of going live, at no charge. After six months we do not — the link has done its work and the host’s editorial decisions are outside our control.
7. Cancellation
Monthly engagements can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice before the next billing date. Placements already approved and in outreach are completed. We do not refund a month already worked.
8. Work we decline
We do not accept interest-based finance, gambling, dating or alcohol, or any project that requires a client’s customers to be misled. See About.
9. Confidentiality & liability
We do not disclose that you are a client without your written agreement. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for it; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or rankings.
